When you send someone an email, that person's email app checks several things to tell whether your message is spam. This guide explains how to set up three items that make your emails look more legitimate, so they're less likely to land in the spam folder.

1. Setting up SPF

This standard tells an email app which web servers are allowed to send emails on your behalf. It helps an app tell whether an email allegedly from you is legitimate. Learn more 🔗

  1. Sign into the service you use to manage your email domain (like CloudFlare or Squarespace).

  2. Find your list of DNS records.

  3. Create a new TXT record that looks like this.

    v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all
